Bible Study Lesson 7 Video: God’s Law of Love

Bible Study Lesson 7 Overview: We will explore the incredible power of the gospel and how it affects our lives today. This is going to be a very uplifting Bible study!

Bible Study Video: Truth Discovery

✝️ Explore the incredible love that God has for us. In John 3:16,  we learn that God loved the world so much that He gave His only Son. This love is not just a warm feeling; it’s a powerful principle that teaches us to give what is needed most, regardless of our emotions.

✝️ Jesus showed us that love is at the heart of the two greatest commandments: to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. When we embrace this kind of love, it becomes a guiding principle in our lives, helping us to happily follow God’s moral law. As Romans 13:10 says, “Love is the fulfilling of the law.”

✝️ Throughout the Bible, love and commandments go hand in hand. God demonstrated His love by sending His Son to die for us, and in return, He asks us to keep His commandments as an expression of that love. Jesus didn’t just come to declare us righteous; He came to transform us into righteous people.

In our previous study, we learned that salvation means saying “yes” to the Lord in all our choices. Accepting God’s love and sharing it with others is one of the most important ways to say “yes” to Him.

As you dive into these truths, think about how inviting Jesus into your life could change you. Would you like to invite Him to fill you with His love, the principle of giving what is needed most? Explore and see what changes it might bring! Find and watch the video below. . .
