Bible Study Lesson 11 Video: God’s Ten (10) Commandments

Bible Study Lesson 11 Overview – We will look at some important points about God’s love and His law. This will help us in showing our love for God by keeping His commandments.

Bible Study Video: Truth Discovery

✝️ Explore the deep connection between God’s love and His law. The Bible tells us that “God is love,” and everything He does is motivated by that love. This foundational truth sets the stage for understanding how His laws are meant to guide us toward a fulfilling life.

✝️ Some people believe that Jesus did away with the law, but He actually affirmed its importance. He came not to destroy the law but to fulfill it. Through His Holy Spirit, God wants us to live in a way that fulfills the righteousness of the law, guiding us to walk in the Spirit rather than in our own desires.

✝️ Jesus highlighted the essence of the law when He told us that the two greatest commandments are to love God and to love our neighbors. This shows that God’s law is rooted in love, and to ignore it is to overlook the love that inspired it.

✝️ Discover how the sacrificial system, as described in the Old Testament, served as a witness until Jesus, the real Lamb of God, fulfilled that requirement through His sacrifice. Importantly, God’s Ten Commandments remain relevant today, as seen in the book of Revelation, where God’s faithful followers are described as those who keep His commandments.

✝️ Finally, we’ll see how keeping God’s law brings happiness and joy into our lives. As you explore these truths, think about how you can show your love for God by keeping His commandments.
